Overall a very good experience

Technician was on time, polite & knowledgeable. The written estimate could have provided more details about the parts and the labor required. The estimate also included the service call fee that I had already paid. The call fee should have been separate.

I originally came out to the call because a customer’s electrical socket was pulled out of the wall also customers kitchen overhead fluorescent light was no longer working. When the receptacle was pulled out of the wall the hot wire touch the metal box causing the circuit to trip after removing the electrical socket I installed a brand new tamper resistant receptacle then I reset the electrical breaker allowing power to restore to that specific circuit with the overhead light in the kitchen I remove the electrical ballast and spliced the new wires through making the old fluorescent fixture a 120 V light fixture then I installed LED ballast bypass tube’s and then turn the light on the test it and it works

The reason for today’s visit with the customer was to initially quote on repairs that was suggested by a home inspector. Today after meeting the customer, we went through the initial repair list suggested by the inspector. We started by looking at the line side of the home seeing the 100 amp service cable that is fraying and deteriorating. We then moved to the basement where the customer showed me the Main 100 amp panel and the 60 amp sub panel. Both panels were out dated and showed signs of many hazards such as rust, double tapped neutrals, and non-UL listed breakers. The customer then moved over to the utility room which showed the “open splice” that was in the wall that fed the washer/laundry outlet. After viewing those areas, the customer then allowed us to begin assessing the home and that’s where i saw on the basement guest room light switch had reverse polarity and only worked when in the “off” position. After finishing in the basement, i moved way to the 1st floor where i began

I removed all of the smart switches in the customers home due to manufacturing issues which continuously burnt out the smart switches on multiple occasions we have been back multiple times and remove and replace the smart switch with a customer supplied smart switch it got to the point where I finally had to talk to the customer and offer him our smart switches which are much more reliable which we used in multiple customers homes without any issues the customer decided that was the decision to move forward with. So I replaced all the smart switches with company supplied Caseta smart switches in certain cases I had to install pico remotes to three-way systems I had to tie through a four-way system in the kitchen and install a dimmer due to the fact that a standard on off smart switch does not work within a four-way system due to the neutral interference. We also supplied a smart hub for the customers router so customer can control all the smart switches and lights from his cell phone

The reason for today’s visit was a plug that was not working on the back deck. When I arrived i saw deck plugs that didn’t have proper weather resistant covers on them. The GFCi did not reset when tested but the outlet did have power. I then went down to the panel to check the breaker and saw the panel was a 200 amp Bryant with a lot of rust going through it. Customer was interested in replacing just the outdoor device and once i gave the quote he declined services.

Reason for today’s visit was for quoting a needed exterior GFCI receptacle in order to feed landscaping lighting for front yard. Upon arriving we were greeted by the Spouse, we introduced ourselves and asked for more details in regards to what they were looking for, after getting together a general idea as well as a few suggestions which included both running a circuit to the front left side of home as well as front side, we requested access to electrical panel to which customer agreed to and showed us the way to, customer had painters on site painting the basement. When first seeing the electrical panel, we immediately noticed there was no accessibility to service it. In order to remove its panel we had to let it drop inside the wall. Once we removed the cover, we noticed corrosion, water damage, rusting, grounding and neutrals double taps, missing knock outs, wiring under sizing, as well as multiple wires without connectors. Because of the current condition and location of the existi
